Natural History Surveys
The society carries out surveys four times a year on
the wildlife seen in the gardens of members of the
society. The objective is to build up a picture of
wildlife seen locally, providing records which may
show trends in time and differences between local
areas. While these surveys target local wildlife, it
is hoped that some data can be incorporated in the
the national surveys carried out by the
UK Phenology Network, which focus on
the timing of natural history events across the country.
